Clearly the middle can be a place of testing, temptation or just a place of waiting; when we are in the "middle" the enemy will come to tempt us and convince us that it is good, that we deserve it and that we will be better and happier. However, the truth is that regardless of what we think we want, God knows what's best for us.
If you think of God as your father, then you will understand the love he has for you and that he does not want to withhold anything good from you. He wants to give you exceedingly and abundantly more than you can ask for. Clearly, God created us with the ability to make choices. We choose whether to follow him or not. We choose whether to obey him. The bottom line is that if we really know who He is, and how much He loves us, then we would not struggle so much with killing our flesh, our desires and instead submitting to the wonderful plan that God has for us. In Jeremiah 29:11 it tells us that God has plans to prosper us, not to harm us, to give us hope and a future. That tells me that I can't fail if I seek Him first and His kingdom. THIS IS A DRAFT. I'M NOT FINISHED YET
If you are in that "middle" place and need to hear from God, if you are struggling with letting go and letting God, or if you are struggling with listening to what God is telling you then try praying the following and truly submitting everything to God.
Father God, I am in a place right now where I desperately need to hear from you. Father, I need your comfort, your peace, your direction. Lord God forgive me for my sins and for the times that I have done what I wanted versus what you wanted. Forgive me for moving forward without first seeking your will for my life. Father God, in the name of Jesus, I submit my will to yours now and ask that your will be done in my life and in my circumstances. Lord I ask you to be Lord in this situation and in my life and I ask for your plan for my life. I ask, as it states in Jeremiah 26:11, for your plan to prosper me and to give me hope and a future.
