For I know the plans I have for you, "declares the Lord," plans to prosper
you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11.
Life is a journey. Some paths we take are bumpy, some are nice and smooth, some are a combination of both, some lead to cross roads, valleys, mountain tops, bridges and some, if you are not careful, lead to dead-ends. My life has been quite a journey and although I've had some bumps in the road, been in more valleys than I'd like to be in, I am who I am today not because of me but because of the great I AM. He has been with me throughout my journey. He was with me even when I just knew of Him but didn't really know Him, didn't have a relationship with Him. He never gave up on me - even when I took the wheel away from Him and drove on some roads He didn't want me on. But through it all, I've learned to depend on Jesus.
My other site was in honor of my husband and my journey through grief, this site is in honor of my Lord and how he has helped me through it all. Without him I am absolutely nothing. The blog on this site will be about my "new" journey, my new beginnings. I'm sure there will be times I take the wheel again during this new journey because sometimes I seem to think He needs a little help (silly me). However, I hope that through this journey there will be less instances of my taking the wheel. So here we go... Jesus take the wheel....
Please don't look at this blog as it containing answers because I'm just on a journey, just like you. I will use this blog to be transparent about my journey in the hopes that it will encourage you, inspire you and lead you closer to Jesus. Jesus is the one with the answers and I'm seeking to walk more closely with him. I will also use this blog to share what God is saying and/or doing in me. Those of you who know me well know that I'm pretty transparent and I will share anything if it's going to help someone and bring God glory.
I hope as you read my blog it will bless you, minister to you, comfort you, lead you to a closer relationship with Jesus, encourage you, and when necessary, cause you to examine where you are in your life.
The first inspiration I want to leave with you is that every day is a new beginning so take a deep breath and start again putting all your trust in God. God wants to do a new thing in everyone who is open to His love and who is seeking Him with their all. If you are ready to give God the wheel, then let God know that and sit back and let Him take you on your journey.
My journey begins..................Jesus take the wheel.............
